GeForce GTX 700 series detailed; significant performance boost not expected

The first of Nvidia’s new GTX 700 graphics cards could be released as soon as next week.

And for the first time we’ve now got a reasonably good idea of what shape the line-up will assume.

Fudzilla reports that the entry-level GTX 760 Ti will effectively be a rebranded GTX 670. The GTX 770, meanwhile, is more or less a GTX 680 although it will clock slightly higher. All in all it’s likely to exceed the 680’s performance by around five per cent.

As detailed last week, the headline card – the GTX 780 – will be very similar to Nvidia’s GTX Titan, both in performance and in price.

The GTX 670 Ti could launch as soon as next week with partner manufacturers releasing their adaptations in June.
