Mojang: Minecraft best-selling XBLA game ever, over 2m units sold

It appears Minecraft’s popularity on the Xbox 360 mirrors that of its PC version.

Best-selling Live Arcade game ever, in less than a month,” boasted the game’s creator and Mojang boss Markus Persson (aka Notch) on Twitter earlier today.

Mojang’s business developer Daniel Kaplan followed up by sharing that the 360 version has already sold over 2m units.

The game had sold nearly 10m units across all platforms as of late last month, setting new XBLA records in the process.
