NINTENDO: First ever download-only Mario revealed

Nintendo has used its E3 conference in Los Angeles today to unveil the first ever download-only Mario game.

Mario Vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again challenges gamers to create their own in-game enemies and traps, and allows them to upload their own levels to other players via Wi-Fi.

The title will be released over the DSiWare service on Monday (June 8th).

Nintendo marketing boss Cammie Dunaway said:

This is the first Mario to allow players to build levels from the ground up. Players will have control of setting traps and enemies, and can upload their creation to friends locally or via a Wi-Fi connection.

As always, obstacles lie between minis and goals – but now that’s up to you.”
