MAG releasing on January 29th?

Sony’s highly anticipated MAG could appear on shelves as early as Janaury 2010.

Several retailers – including Game, Amazon and HMV – are listing the release date for the massively multiplayer online first-person shooter as January 29th, both online and in stores.

However, a Sony spokesperson told MCV: We still haven’t confirmed the release date for MAG, so any dates you may have seen or heard are unofficial at the moment.”

MAG was announced at E3 2008 and boasts multiplayer support for up to 256 players simultaneously. It is a key release for PS3 in 2010.
