Move sells 1m in US

Sony has announced that PlayStation Move has sold one million units in its first month in the US.

The company’s president and CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment of America Jack Tretton has said demand for the new motion controller is far outstripping supply, according to Reuters.

Production for the device has already been increased, but Tretton does not expect to meet retailers’ needs until February.

We had to go back and increase production twice, we’re absolutely maxed out,” he said.

Sony previously announced that Move has sold more than 1.5 million units in Europe.
