Report: EA Partners label shutting down

EA is reportedly set to close EA Partners, the firm’s program for providing contract-based publishing services for third-party developers.

Game Informer cites multiple anonymous sources close to the matter” that state the label will soon shut down.

Partners previously brought about partnerships with the likes of Harmonix (Rock Band), Valve (Orange Box), and Crytek (Crysis). Two upcoming titles are still set to be published under the label as well – Insomnic’s Fuse and Respawn’s unannounced title.

EA has yet to issue any comment on the reported developments.
