Resident Evil 0 remake set for early 2016

The prequel to the Resident Evil series is launching on the new consoles in early 2016, complete with shiny new visuals.

Resident Evil 0 was a GameCube exclusive when it launched in 2003, a Wii port arrived shortly after, but it has never left Nintendo platforms.

Now the game will arrive on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and PC, and will receive the same sort of visual updates and improvements as the Resident Evil 1 remaster, which came out earlier this year and sold a cool 1m units.

Resident Evil Zero starred Resident Evil 1 character Rebecca Chambers – a member of the ill-fated Bravo team, which had been sent in to investigate murders occuring in the Arklay Mountains – alongside convict Billy Coen.

Why not enjoy Capcom’s announcement video below. Which may well be the most awkward announcement video since Wii Music.
