Riccitiello joins Telltale Games’ board

The changes at Telltale Games are continuing with confirmation that John Riccitiello has joined the company’s board of directors.

Riccitiello is the current CEO of Unity and has twice been the boss of EA, with his second tenure ending in early 2013.

Telltale has created something entirely new,” Riccitiello said. Their games combine linear storytelling and gameplay in an entirely new way that is fresh, unique, and compelling. I’m excited to partner with Kevin and his team at Telltale as they build on their success in bringing together some of what is the best of television, film and video games.”

It was yesterday confirmed that Lionsgate has made what was described as a significant investment” in Telltale, and that Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer would also join the board.
