Wii U version of Project Cars not due until 2015

Project Cars will not race onto Nintendo’s machine until after it has arrived on consoles and PC.

Bandai Namco’s UK PR and marketing boss Lee Kirton confirmed as much on Twitter, stating that the planned November release for the racer remains in place for PS4, Xbox One and PC but that a 2015 release is currently scheduled for Wii U.

Bandai Namco grabbed the publishing rights for the title earlier this month.

Wii U owners are accustomed to waiting for promised third party releases, with Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs still MIA on the console despite the game having shifted 8m units on other forums since May.
