Internal changes for PS3 Slim

As is fairly standard practice, Sony has made a few internal tweaks to the architecture of the latest PS3 Slim model.

Andriasang
reports that the new machine – the CECH-3000B – has reduced power consumption from the 230W seen in existing Slims to 200W. The weight has also dropped 400g to 2.6kg.

There are also some unspecified changes to the power and eject buttons and the removal of some "LED lamps", though the nature of this remains unclear. It houses a 320GB hard drive.

Pricing for the new device remains consistent with the existing machine.
