Quazal adds new data centre

Quazal, maker of Net-Z, Rendez-Vous and Spark! online multiplayer middleware, has opened a grown its server infrastructure, adding a new data centre to its operations.

The new facility, based in downtown Montreal, will help support Quazal’s growth as the slate of big-name titles using its online services grows.

“This new data center allows us to keep ahead of the huge demand for our Rendez-Vous lobby hosting services. Not only have we have added significantly to our network infrastructure but we have also invested heavily in IBM blade systems to deliver the kind of performance, redundancy and scalability that our rapidly expanding client base expects from the leading independent provider of multiplayer solutions”, said Cyrille Delaunay, hosting manager at Quazal Technologies.
