Project Cars delayed (slightly) for a second time

Bandai Namco’s racing simulator Project Cars has suffered its second release date delay.

The game had been due out on March 20th but will now release in Europe on April 2nd.

The release will be slightly more staggered in the US, where it will hit Steam on April 2nd and PS4 and Xbox One on April 7th. The Wii U version has yet to receive a concrete release date in any territory.

Moving a release date was not an easy decision to make, as we know our fans are eager to get their hands-on on Project Cars,” head of studio at Slightly Mad Studios Ian Bell said. But we know that these extra days will allow us to provide the best game experience that our fans deserve. We assure you the wait will be worth it when the game does arrive early April.”

The game had previously been due out on November 21st but was pushed back to 2015 last September.
