Awesome Games Done Quick is a Twitch-based marathon run of top gamers attempting record-breaking speedruns of classics such as Mario and Zelda games, along with other amazing feats like playing through an entire title while blindfolded.

The event took place last month across 160 hours of streaming. It brought in a record 9.4m unique viewers and 29.2m individuals reached via Twitch’s front page and other simulcasts on the website. More details about the event’s rise over the last few years can be found in the infographic below.

AGDQ organizer Games Done Quick now shifts its focus to its other major annual event, Summer Games Done Quick – scheduled to take place later this year.
