Stig Asmussen named game director at Titanfall developer

Ex-God of War creative director joins Respawn

Ex-God of War creative director Stig Asmussen has joined Respawn Entertainment.

As reported by Polygon, Asmussen has taken up the role of game director at the Titanfall developer. He is currently working on an as yet unannounced title.

Asmussen left Sony Santa Monica in March after 11 years at the studio, having worked on God of War 1, 2 and 3.

His departure came after a number of layoffs at the studio following the decision to relocate its office from Santa Monica to Playa Vista.
