The Walking Dead Season 2 launches this year

Telltale Games has released a trailer for the highly anticipated second season of The Walking Dead, revealing that the first episode is expected to launch before the end of the year.

The news comes via the PlayStation US blog, which confirms a PS3 and Vita release – but makes no mention of the PS4.

An early twist for the new season has surfaced as well, as the playable protagonist role will shift from Lee to Clementine for the upcoming five episodes.

Telltale adds that the game has thus far sold in excess of 21m individual episodes.

The studio also confirmed the previously outed Game of the Year edition of the game for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. It bundles together Season 1 with the game’s 400 Days DLC for $30.
