Quantic Dream unveils Beyond: Two Souls for PS3

Heavy Rain developer Quantic Dream announced its next title – Beyond: Two Souls, at Sony’s E3 press conference today.

The game is currently in development exclusively for PS3, and like Heavy Rain, will include support for PlayStation Move.

The game sees Hollywood star Ellen Page starring as Jodie Holmes and will take place over a period of 15 years. In keeping with Quantic Dream’s philosophy, Beyond is an emotional action thriller targeted at mature gamers. It also sees the French developer return to supernatural subject matter via Jodie’s psychic link to an invisible entity she calls Aiden.

Beyond benefits from Quantic Dream’s new game engine and extensive research on motion capture technology, which it recently showcased via the Kara tech demo.
