3.2m people have played Techland’s Dying Light

3.2m gamers have played Techland’s Dying Light since its launch in January.

This is according to an infographic released by the developer.

Note that this figure doesn’t represent unit sales, but rather the number of active players.

In addition to the 3.2m people who have played the game, fans have killed 378,762,587 zombies and travelled 150m km. Five million survivors have been saved too – which Techland notes is enough to popular Ireland.

Its first 45 days on the market were more successful than those of the studio’s previous titles, which include Dead Island, Dead Island Riptide and the Call of Juarez franchise.

The game launched digitally at the end of January, with the physical edition being delayed until February 27th in the UK. It debuted at No.1 in the GfK Chart-Track Top 40, and held this position for a second week.
