Code Coven has revealed the studios in the first cohort of the new Aurora Accelerator and Agency.
Aurora is a program that supports marginalised game developer-led studios, helping them to get funding, build their industry connections, and negotiate ethical deals for their games with publishers. The first Aurora 2025 cohort includes:
“Fast Loris Studios is really excited to join Aurora and connect with a community that truly understands the challenges faced by underrepresented voices in games,” said Helen Smailes, co-founder of Fast Loris Studios.
“Having Aurora’s mentorship, structure and support behind us is invaluable – helping us strengthen our business skills, grow our studio sustainably, and play our part in building a more inclusive industry.”
“Hologram Ghost is incredibly proud to be a part of the first cohort of the Aurora accelerator,” added Claudie Cote-Bergeron, co-founder of Hologram Ghost.
“We look forward to expanding our professional network, growing our leadership and business management skills in the coming weeks, as well as taking part in any opportunities for funding and support that come our way.”
If you’d like to apply to be a part of the next Aurora Accelerator and Agency cohort (which is expected to start later this year) you can do that over on the Aurora website.
