E3 2012: Mass Effect for Wii U to be announced tonight?

EA now looks likely to announcement a Wii U version of Mass Effect at Nintendo’s E3 press event that kicks off at 5pm tonight.

The German language Mass Effect Facebook page has this afternoon told fans to keep an eye on Nintendo’s event.

EA boss John Riccitiello has previously pledged to back Nintendo’s new machine. A special Wii U version of the big-hitting sci-fi IP would certainly give the platform a huge boost. The question now is whether it will be a brand new game or a port of ME3, or perhaps all three ME titles.

And don’t rule out the possibility of other EA brands also hopping aboard the bandwagon.

MCV will be covering the Nintendo event live. Make sure to check back at 5pm today (June 5th).
