Oro Interactive has secured a minority investment from video game publisher Kepler Interactive, giving the independent publisher additional resources and expertise to grow its work with developers.
The partnership reflects Oro and Kepler Interactive’s shared respect for what thoughtful, developer-first publishing can achieve, with Oro representing a newer generation of publishers focused on creative identity, selective growth, and building meaningful relationships with development teams.
“We’ve always been drawn to publishers and developers who have a strong creative vision and sense of who they are” said Richie Zhu, Chief Business Officer at Kepler Interactive. “Oro shares that philosophy, and we are excited to support them as they help developers turn ambitious ideas into experiences that resonate with players”.
For Oro, Kepler’s investment is less about changing direction and more about strengthening what already works.
Sam De Boeck, Founder and CEO of Oro added: “This partnership felt like a natural fit. We’ve built Oro around trust, creativity, and doing things the right way for the teams we work with. Kepler understands that approach, and this gives us additional support while allowing us to stay true to who we are.”
