This is a press release posted alongside our usual editorial content.

Red Bull is giving EA SPORTS FC™ 27 players the chance to take their game beyond the screen, with Limited Edition Red Bull Wings Cup cans launching nationwide.

Available in stores from September 1st, the Limited Edition cans unlock exclusive in-game rewards and give players a route into Red Bull Wings Cup, a global EA SPORTS FC™ 27 competition offering players the chance to compete for a place at the Global Final in Miami in January 2027.

Each participating can features a QR code and unique code under the can tab, which consumers can redeem for 250 EA SPORTS FC™ 27 Season Points, an exclusive Red Bull Wings Cup Ultimate Team Kit and a Red Bull Wings Cup Loan Player Item.

Players can start preparing their Ultimate Teams from 18th September, ahead of the Red Bull Wings Cup, with redeemable in-game rewards.

From 27th September, players across the UK can register for the Red Bull Wings Cup through a series of online and offline qualifiers. PlayStation Tournament Online Qualifiers will run until 1st November, alongside University Qualifiers running through to 7th November, giving players across the country the opportunity to battle their way to the UK National Final.

Players who progress through the Playstation Tournament Open Qualifiers and Red Bull Wings Cup live activations will advance to the online FACEIT Closed Qualifiers, battling through a single-elimination bracket hosted via FACEIT.

Six of the country’s top players will then emerge from the Closed Qualifiers to head to the Red Bull Gaming Sphere in London on 14th November for the UK National Final, going head-to-head for the chance to represent the UK at the Red Bull Wings Cup World Final in Miami in January 2027.

Red Bull Player Angry Ginge and EA SPORTS FC esports star Tekkz will front the Red Bull Wings Cup action throughout the campaign:

Red Bull Player Angry Ginge, said, “I’m proper excited to be part of Red Bull Wings Cup. EA SPORTS FC is a massive part of my life and content, but this is a chance to experience it in a completely different way, with anyone able to get involved and compete for the chance to take it all the way to Miami. I’m looking forward to seeing who steps up and makes it to the World Final.”

Alongside the tournament, fans will also have the chance to win a range of football and gaming prizes through the ASDA exclusive Red Bull Wings Cup 4-Pack. Prizes include a trip for two to the Red Bull Wings Cup World Final in Miami, 23 pairs of Premier League match tickets, Red Bull Wings Cup jerseys, a PlayStation 5 Pro and PlayStation DualSense controllers, as well as copies of EA SPORTS FC™ 27.

From picking up a can and unlocking exclusive in-game rewards to competing for a place in Miami, Red Bull Wings Cup brings EA SPORTS FC™ 27 and football together across the UK, giving players the chance to take their game beyond the screen and onto the global stage.
