BBC 5 Live show to ask whether gaming is a sport

A show called Gaming: Rise of the Cyber Athlete will this week examine the credentials of video games as a sport.

It will air this Thursday (January 15th) on BBC Radio 5 Live from 8:30pm-10pm. Viewers will also be able to access it on the BBC website, where it can be watched live, and iPlayer.

An online iWonder guide will also be available on the BBC website from midnight on Wednesday.

The live show will be hosted by radio presenter OJ Borg and guests will include Team Dignitas manager Michael O’Dell (ODEE) and PlayStation racing champ Jann Mardenborough.
