IGN announces Game Changer talent search

IGN UK has launched a six-month talent search to expand its video and editorial teams.

Entitled Game Changer, the initiative will see the popular games site hire undiscovered talent next year – specifically new writers and video presenters. Only UK residents over the age of 18 can apply.

As IGN UK, our mission is to develop award-winning talent and content,” said UK editor-in-chief Alex Simmons. Every day our readers contact us, asking how they can break into the industry to embark on a career in journalism.

With Game Changer we want to give all aspiring writers and presenters that chance, whilst unearthing the new wave of creative talent for the industry.”

Aspiring video presenters must record a 30-film of themselves discussing their favourite game or movie and upload it to YouTube. Meanwhile, wannabe writers must email in a 250-word article to IGN. More information can be found at the official Game Changer website.
