Sony could announce first ForwardWorks mobile titles on December 7

Sony ForwardWorks could be looking to announce both the mobile games it’s working on and the partnerships that are going to make this happen on December 7th.

The news was broken by a Wall Street Journal technology reporter Takashi Mochizuki, who is embedded in Japan, who (https://twitter.com/mochi_wsj/status/799107777796812800)tweeted simply: "Sony (SIE): To announce software titles and partner companies for its smartphone game project initially for Japan market from 16:00, Dec. 7"

Mochizuki previously claimed that ForwardWorks would be releasing six games throughout the 2017 fiscal year with possible titles including Hot Shots Golf and The Last Guardian potentials for making the jump to mobile users.

ForwardWorks was founded in March 2016 to focus on mobile titles for the Asian market although Sony CEO Kaz Hirai has previously suggested that Sony would be targeting mobile gaming aggressively so there’s hope the games could make it to Western Markets.
