No Dark Souls 2 season pass on Xbox 360

Confusion has surrounded yesterday’s release of the Dark Souls 2 Crown Trilogy DLC.

The first part of the trio, The Crown of the Sunken King, was released on PC and Xbox 360 yesterday with a PS3 release due to follow today.

However, while a 19.99 season pass is available on PC via Steam and on PSN for PS3 that includes all three parts – which are normally priced at 9.99 each – dlcentral reports that it appears that there will be no season pass for Xbox 360 owners.

Furthermore, it also looks as if it won’t be available at all on PS3 in North America.

All of which means that Xbox 360 and US PS3 owners face paying an additional 50 per cent for the complete trilogy compared to PC and UK PS3 gamers.

Parts two and three – called Crown of the Old Iron King and Crown of the Ivory King – are due out at the end of August and September respectively.
