Activision UK to restructure

Activision has confirmed that the reshuffle at its US office will result in alterations to the structure of its UK operations, though the exact details remain unclear for now.

We are realigning our structure to better reflect our slate and the market opportunities in Europe as well as directing our resources against the largest and most profitable business segments,” a statement from the publisher reads.

Like any successful business, Activision Publishing consistently works to align its costs with its revenues – this is an ongoing process.”

Activision has not yet confirmed that there will be job losses at its UK office, though MCV can reveal that there have already been redundancies.

The move follows the splitting of its US base into four units and promotions for top line execs such as Mike Griffith and Thomas Tippl.
