PS4 camera boasts 15% attach rate, nears 1m sales

Sony has to date sold around 900,000 PlayStation Cameras designed for use with PS4.

As GameSpot reports, with global PS4 sales standing at around 6m units that equates to an attach rate of 15 per cent.

However, the number would have been higher – possibly far higher – were the peripheral not, as Sony claims, "severely supply constrained".

US retailer GameStop earlier this month increased the price of the device, sparking speculation that it was responding to shortages. It remains very hard to source in the US, although seems more plentiful in the UK.
