Amazon introduces Metacritic ratings to game product listings

Some Amazon customers are now being presented with Metacritic ratings in certain video game product listings.

Polygon reports that the addition is only showing up for users in some regions, while an Amazon forum thread adds that the feature is only appearing on certain products.

When it does appear, the Metacritic link can be seen next to the user review score.

It’s not yet known what criteria must be met before Metacritic is added to a product listing or whether Amazon and/or Metacritic will only be adding it to games that score above a certain threshold.

Services such as Steam already offer links to Metacritic scores alongside user generated scores.
