Angry Birds Go launches in UK, has IAP prices reduced

Rovio’s kart racing iOS title Angry Birds Go is now available in the UK.

Fortunately, the game has had the price of its IAPs reduced. The version soft-launched in New Zealand featured a kart that cost 69.99. This has now been reduced to (a still somewhat pricey) 34.99.

That’s not to say that there isn’t the opportunity to spend lots of cash, as you’re free to spend ample amount on in-game currency should you choose.

The game is free to download and also includes lots of ads and sponsored power-ups. There’s also a time-limiting energy system while in-game extras will be offered as codes via certain Angry Birds toy purchases.
