The Crew delayed; falls back to early December

Ubisoft has announced that The Crew has been delayed, and will be released worldwide on December 2nd.

The open-world racer was originally set for launch on November 11th, alongside Halo: The Master Chief Collection and two days before Ubisoft’s pair of Assassin’s Creed games, Unity and Rogue, PES 2015 and World of Warcraft: Warlords of Draenor.

Announcing the delay, Ubisoft commented that the extra time will allow for a second closed console beta to be held in November on Xbox One and PS4.

This will give more players the opportunity to experience the game, which is something the community has been requesting”, the firm added.

Julian Gerighty, creative director for the title, commented: Our philosophy remains to deliver the best game possible.

We’re all committed to delivering a revolutionary experience in the driving genre and we can’t wait for The Crew to be in the hands of the players.”
