Virgin Media and Gfinity running eSports Hexathlon at EGX across every genre

Virgin Media and Gfinity are looking for the best gaming all-rounder in the UK with an eSports Hexathlon concluding at September’s EGX.

Players will compete over six games online between now and the 19th of September, with 10 finalists making it to the main stage at Birmingham’s NEC between the 24th and 27th of September.

The competitors will need mastery of every genre as the chosen games include FIFA, Super Smash Bros, Hearthstone, Smite, Heroes of the Storm and Destiny.

Awaiting the victor is 5,000 in cash as well as a top flight Virgin Media service package for one year, which will also be awarded to the nine runners-up.
