Wii cut to £89 as festive price wars gain traction

The Nintendo Wii has fallen to its lowest price ever on the UK High Street.

Supermarcket chain Asda is advertising a 89 price point for the console in today’s papers. The SKU on offer includes a white version of the machine and two games – Wii Sports and Wii Party.

The shop has also discounted a number of popular chart titles such as Dead Island, F1 2011, Kinect Sports: Season Two and Just Dance 3 to just 35.

MCV predicted back in May that a wave of sub-100 Wii deals would hit the UK.
