Angry Birds Land to open in Finland

Finland is not just the home of Angry Birds developers Rovio; soon it will also have its very own Angry Birds amusement park.

The park will be a part of the Srkenniemi Adventure Park in Tampere, and is due to open on April 28th. Featured attractions will include rides, interactive amusement park games and ‘Magic Places’ where the gaming world meets the real world.

It has been designed by MDR Design, an entertainment design company, in collaboration with Rovio Entertainment and Srknniemi representatives.

Park CEO Miikka Seppl said: We wanted to create a unique themed area and associate it with a strong and well-known brand. The Angry Birds characters were born in Finland but known worldwide by people of all ages. This is a perfect fit for our Adventure Park”.
