Sims Studio GM Rachel Franklin assumes leadership of Maxis group

Maxis SVP Lucy Bradshaw leaves EA after 23 years

Maxis SVP Lucy Bradshaw has left EA after 23 years with the publisher.

No reason was given for her departure. Sims Studio GM Rachel Franklin will now take over leadership of the Maxis group.

Franklin will lead the development working on new content for The Sims 4, as well as overseeing the creation of “new Maxis concepts”. The Maxis group will also now work with EA’s mobile teams moving forward.

“Today we are announcing that Lucy Bradshaw is moving on from Electronic Arts,” said EA CEO Andrew Wilson.

“Through 23 years with our company, Lucy has brought an incredible passion for games and our player community. I want to thank Lucy for her dedication to EA, her contributions to Maxis, and the creative spirit she infused in every one of her teams and projects. We wish her the best as she takes on her next adventure.”
