Granny 3D, Bink and Miles Sound System to open doors to developing for Sony's new platform

RAD Game Tools to support NGP

RAD Game Tools’ popular development solutions are now joining the growing ranks of tech offerings supporting Sony’s NGP platform.

The Washington headquartered outfit has revealed that its tools – which include the Granny 3D Animation Toolkit, the Bink video codec, and the Miles Sound System – will support Sony’s recently revealed succesor to the PSP and PSPgo.

“We’re excited to release our tools on the Sony NGP platform,” said RAD’s president Jeff Roberts, adding: “Sony has a history of innovation in game consoles, and we’re proud to be a part of that.”

Granny 3D for NGP is available with immediate effect, while Bink and Miles will introduce support for the portable platform in Spring this year.
