Mashup of bike platforming series and ‘80s-flavoured Far Cry spin-off will be given to those who finish trial version (pun intended) with 15 faults or fewer

RedLynx to offer Trials of the Blood Dragon for free to players who perfect its demo

Having previously leaked a PC release of Trials 2 in 2008 in an effort to turn pirates into purchasers, RedLynx is once again taking a unique approach to promoting its latest game.

The studio has announced that it will give away a free copy of Trials of the Blood Dragon, the Trials-meets-Far Cry spin-off it co-created with Ubisoft Kiev, to players who can finish the game’s demo with a near-perfect score.

To be eligible for a free code, fans must finish the PC taster with 15 faults or fewer by the end of July.

For now, the offer only applies to PC, meaning PS4 and Xbox One players still need to buy the game as normal – however, they might be more tempted if all their friends on PC are already playing.
