Former Industrial Light & Magic exec Jody Madden promoted to new role

The Foundry appoints new chief customer officer

Mari and Modo creator The Foundry has appointed Jody Madden as its chief customer officer.

This newly created role will make Madden responsible for how the company takes an increasingly customer-centric category, interacting with developers and other users of The Foundry’s tools.

Madden has worked for The Foundry for a number of years, and will leave her previous role as chief operating office. She previously worked at a number of technology firms, including Industrial Light & Magic and Digital Domain, as well as a stint at LucasFilm.

“I’m really excited to be stepping into this new role,” Madden said. “Over the last 15 years I have been part of The Foundry’s growth, first as a customer and then as its COO, and I’ve always been impressed with The Foundry’s commitment to its customers.

“I’m looking forward to bringing our customers even closer to our business and being part of The Foundry’s growth story along with the rest of the exec team.”
