The first round of matches for the ELEAGUE CS:GO Major have been revealed, with more than a few tasty matchups to kick things off.
The headline matchup is between ELEAGUE Season One champions Virtus Pro and ELEAGUE Season Two champions OpTic Gaming. Both teams will be looking to get off to a good start, but this will be a tough matchup to win.
Elsewhere in the first round Fnatic will face G2, Gambit will face North, the new organisation from FC Copenhagen, SK will face HellRaisers, NaVi will face mousesports, Liquid will face EnVyUs, Astralis will face Godsent and finally Flipsid3 Tactics will face FaZe Clan.
The swiss format means that these are the only matchups that we know of so far. After the first round teams with the same win loss record will face off, if you secure three wins you make it to the knockout stage but if you get three losses you are out and will be forced to qualify for the next major.
