GODSENT drop out of WESG less than 24 hours before the event starts

Swedish CS:GO team GODSENT have dropped out of the $1.5 million WESG tournament less than 24 hours before it was due to start.

The competition kicked off in the early hours of this morning, however it was only revealed late last night that the team would not be competing. GODSENT qualified for the event, but did not travel out to China. Tournament organisers said that they had not been given a reason for the team dropping out and had not been able to contact them.

Overnight rumours circulated that the team did not attend due to the upcoming Major, which they are also playing in. This is a reasonable excuse for dropping out of the event, however not letting the organisers know is a bad move.

This means that Group C at WESG is down one team, as there was obviously no time to sort a replacement.
