Full-length FIFA 11 TV ad debuts

EA has lifted the lid on its feature TV spot for this year’s FIFA 11, which debuted during yesterday’s high-energy match between Manchester United and Liverpool.

A big-money TV reveal has become somewhat of a tradition for EA, and this year’s effort carries on that spirit with a host of Europe’s top footballing faces gathering for the two-minute teaser.

Stars featured in the ad include England and Man Utd striker Rooney, Brazil and Real Madrid wizard Kaka, Germany’s attacking midfielder Mesut Ozil (also of Madrid), Spanish Barcelona star Andres Iniesta and France and Real Madrid stars Karim Benzema.

Though EA might have wished they’d gone for Berbatov after the striker’s fantastic hat-trick against Liverpool, which included a spectacular overhead strike for the second goal.

You can watch the video below.

In addition, the ad also revealed that Official PlayStation Magazine has awarded the game an impressive 10/10 in its latest issue, calling it footballing perfection”. GamesMaster scored the game at 94 per cent earlier in the month.
