Mark Ward leaves Bastion

Popular UK account director at Bastion Mark Ward has announced his departure from the specialist PR agency.

In an email to industry professionals, Ward revealed that Bastion is preparing for an internal restructuring.

Noting his strong relationship with Bastion, which he called a company I’ve helped to build and grown to love over the past 13 years”, Ward said:

I leave behind an outstanding and talented team of PR and marketing professionals and one that I still passionately recommend. I’m incredibly proud of what our team (past and present) has achieved, and will continue to achieve in the future, and consider myself lucky to have played a role in that success.

Without exception, I’ve enjoyed every day at Bastion and that’s entirely down to the clients, journalists and colleagues that I’ve had the privilege to work with and call friends.

I’m currently considering some good opportunities in the interactive entertainment industry, so I’ll be a pesky blip on your radar again very soon. You don’t get rid of me that easily.”
