Koch Media and Codemasters partner for global distribution deal

Koch Media and Codemasters have inked a new distribution and co-publishing deal to cover the western games market.

Beginning in 2016, the former firm will replace Bandai Namco as the sole distributor for Codemasters titles in EMEA.

The collaboration also means that Koch Media will exclusively co-publish Codemasters games in the Americas region.

Both companies offered canned statements in response to the news.

"We are very excited to re-start a wide-reaching business partnership with Codemasters,” said Koch CEO Dr Klemens Kundratitz (pictured).

Codemasters will complement our roster of triple-A games from Deep Silver, Square Enix, Sega and many other strategic partners.

As part of the deal, our physical and digital distribution power combined will bolster some of the finest racing games ever produced."

Codemasters CEO Frank Sagnier added: With a great line up of new titles, combined with Koch Media’s large distribution network and territory knowledge behind us, we are confident of a very successful 2016.”
