Humble Bundle Weekly Sale kicks off with pay what you want Bastion

Humble Bundle organizers have announced a new weekly promotion of rotating pay-what-you-want offers on individual indie games.

A Humble Mumble blog post reveals new deals will arrive each Tuesday, with Supergiant’s 2011 action RPG Bastion representing the debut title for the promo. For a minimum purchase of $1, buyer’s will score DRM-free digital copies of the featured game for Windows PC, Mac, and Linux.

Paying anything over $1 adds a Steam key to mix, and those who exceed the average purchase price (currently $2.68) will also get a digital copy of Bastion’s Soundtrack, Bastion ringtones for iPhone and Android, and a Bastion Digital Art Pack of previously unreleased works.

Lastly, anyone who kicks in over $25 will get all of the aforementioned, plus some physical items. Those include a CD version of the OST, a themed bandana, and postcards for both Bastion and Supergiant’s just revealed title, Transistor.

The promotion’s purchase method is on par with Humble Bundle’s standards, allowing buyers to decide how their money will be split between the game’s developer, charity, and the Humble Bundle group itself.
