The 2025 TIGA Games Industry Awards have once again showcased the extraordinary creativity, innovation, and talent within the sector, which gathered at the Hurlingham Club for a gala dinner and presentation ceremony on the evening of Tuesday November 4th.

The event was completely sold out, with over 300 industry VIPs attending to cheer the games, studios of all sizes, universities and vital service support companies that have excelled over the past year.

Fireproof Games took home the coveted Game of the Year award for Ghost Town, which also earned the trophy for Best Puzzle Game 2025, while Secret Mode won both Creativity in Games and Best Visual Design for Still Wakes the Deep: Siren’s Rest.

In other categories, Playground Games triumphed twice, winning Best Audio Design for Forza Horizon 5 and the Commitment to Workplace Wellbeing award.

Sony Interactive Entertainment also celebrated dual success, with Astro Bot named Best Arcade Game and Death Stranding 2: On The Beach recognised as Best Social Game.

Among the special awards, Deborah Kirkham, CEO of Side, received the Outstanding Leadership award, while Iain McNeil, CEO of Slitherine Software, was honoured as Outstanding Individual of the Year.

PlanetPlay was recognised for its sustainability leadership, winning the Commitment to ESG award.
