[Event news] Develop:Brighton 2026 marks 20-year anniversary with huge audience

Develop:Brighton marked its 20 year anniversary last week, drawing  5,804 game developers, publishers, and industry professionals from around the world, to sunny Brighton. This figure represents around 5%increase from 2025 and set yet another new attendance record for the conference. In addition, around  3,000 meetings were scheduled through the event’s professional matchmaking platform, Meet@Develop, highlighting the unique networking opportunities available at the event.

The conference hosted industry icons and studio leaders who shared insights and experiences to help attendees tackle the challenges facing their studios & their games. The enthusiasm for both the conference and awards reflected the unique energy that Develop:Brighton is known for.

Develop:Brighton returns in 2027 to the DoubleTree by Hilton Metropole from Tuesday 13 – Thursday 15 July, with the Develop:Star Awards taking place on Wednesday 14 July.
