[Event news] The MCV/DEVELOP Women in Games Awards return this September – and nominations are open NOW!

The annual Women in Games Awards are back again this Autumn, and you can now nominate friends, co-workers, and those that you admire in this great industry. You can even nominate yourselves (we won’t tell anyone!).

There are 11 categories to choose from this year, so please take the time to understand them and then select the ones most relevant for your nominees. You’ll need to provide us with a nominee’s name, the company they work for, a contact email, and a supporting statement of no more than 750 words that showcases their achievements.

When nominating, please make sure you let your nominee know beforehand, and confirm that the person in question identifies as a woman before you make your submission.

The window for nominations will close on August 3rd, at which point a finalists list will be decided upon.

An esteemed panel of judges will then decide the winners, who will go on to receive their awards at a ticketed ceremony held at 21Soho, 3-5 Sutton Row, London W1D 4NR on September 24, 2026.

Sponsors for this year’s event include Screen Burn Interactive, Alan Boswell Group, CCP Games, and EA Playdemic.

Games Aid are this year’s charity partner, receiving £5 from each ticket purchased.
